Privacy policy
This policy explains how Pixeluxe Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal data on our website at pixeluxe.ai and when you contact us, book a Discovery call, or become a customer. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
If you have a question about anything in this policy, email hello@pixeluxe.ai.
What we collect
When you visit the website
Our web server logs your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site working and to investigate problems or abuse. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising. See our cookie policy for the full list.
When you contact us or book a call
If you book a Discovery call we collect your name, email address, company, and anything else you choose to share. Bookings are handled on our own Pixeluxe platform. If you email us, we keep that email and any reply.
When you become a customer
Once you sign up to the Pixeluxe platform, the platform's own privacy notice applies. It is presented to you in-app at sign-up and covers the data you and your team enter into the system.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To run the website and respond to enquiries — our legitimate interest in operating a business and replying to people who get in touch.
- To analyse traffic and measure advertising — your consent (you can withdraw this any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer).
- To deliver the services you've asked for — performance of the contract between us, once you become a customer.
- To meet our legal obligations — for example, accounting and tax records.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third parties to run the website and our business. They only process data on our instructions and under written agreements:
- Google (Google Fonts) — fonts loaded from Google's CDN. Data: IP address.
- Google (Analytics 4) — site analytics, with your consent. Data: pseudonymised usage events, anonymised IP.
- Meta (Pixel) — ad measurement, with your consent. Data: page views, conversion events.
- Postmark — transactional email delivery. Data: email address, message contents.
- Our hosting provider — server logs.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
International transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where this applies, transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider.
How long we keep it
- Server logs — up to 30 days.
- Analytics events — up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
- Discovery call records and emails — up to 24 months from your last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Customer records — for the life of the contract and up to 7 years afterwards for tax and accounting.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it (in some circumstances).
- Ask us to restrict or stop processing it.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we relied on.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pixeluxe.ai. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and we will update the "last updated" date above. For significant changes affecting how your data is used, we will give reasonable notice by email or a banner on the site.
